2024 Winner of Tennis West’s Most Outstanding Club- Large
Work hard
PLAY HARDER
We are a vibrant and ambitious club that is always happy to introduce new players to the game and to other players so everyone can enjoy the game of tennis.
With a highly successful comprehensive coaching program, we cater for the very youngest players just beginning their tennis journey to top National juniors, Tennis West League players of all standards, WA State League, and Australian UniGames players. UWA TC is the only WA tennis club to have ever produced two Boy’s Junior State League teams in one season via our development programme.
We hold weekly social and competition tennis for adults and juniors on our grass, hard, and clay courts at both our Mt Claremont and Campus courts. Anyone can join in, bring some friends, and have some fun!
The University of Western Australia Tennis Club (UWA TC) is one of the oldest UWA Sporting clubs, having been established in 1914. The Club is also one of the most successful WA Clubs having won 8 State Grade premierships, between 1971/72 and 2002/2003.
Many UWATC players have played tennis for the state, coached champions, written tennis books, won the Queen’s Award for contributions to tennis, played for Australia, played on the world tour, and most importantly, contributed to the great social atmosphere at UWATC.
What’s On At UWA TC?
We have something for all levels and abilities so why not come and have a hit on the only European red clay courts in WA and enjoy a game with UWA TC!
